Description (Service) COVID-19 Response
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, the Wheels of Hope transportation service has been suspended until further notice

Regular Service
National, community based organization of volunteers dedicated to the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. Services include:
  • Wheels of Hope - transportation service to and from treatment centres - for transportation requirements, please call the dedicated toll free line
  • health promotion
  • emotional support for patients and their families
  • public education regarding cancer prevention and detection
  • fundraising for research
Free wigs, turbans, breast prosthetics and blankets for cancer patients are available directly from the Owen Sound hospital (Oncology department, 5th floor).
